Speed kills. Tabby’s quickness to every ball helps distance herself from other guards in the area. While she has impressive athleticism, Curtis doesn’t get out of control. She play unselfish ball, unwilling to force bad shots. Britiya is a dangerous shooter that can score off the catch or dribble. When she attacks downhill, Curtis has a floater she likes to use to combat length. Her reaction time on defense helps her to change directions in a blink and force turnovers. She tallied 15 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. Curtis is a nice D-II prospect.

Up from No. 63: Curtis could become a trendy prospect among D-II schools after winning Region Player of the Year. Calhoun is on the precipice of cementing themselves as a Top 10 program in Class 5A. Curtis is a quick athlete but separates herself from most with her three-point shot. Curtis can fill it up from all three levels while still serving as a dangerous playmaker.

Curtis was named Region 7-5A Co-Player of the Year last season. Her athleticism and motor stand out right away, but she is also a knockdown three-point shooter that has two games of eight made threes under her belt in her career. Britiya is a smooth ball handler that gets to her spots easily.

It was my first time seeing Britiya and she showed a lot. She’s an unselfish slashing guard who can consistently get paint touches. She uses quickness and strong command of the dribble to create scoring opportunities for herself. She has a crafty bounce which made it hard for defenders to keep her out of the lane. She repeatedly broke down the defense and made great passes off the bounce anywhere on the floor. She is enough of a threat from deep to keep defenders looking to stop her drives honest. She has some untapped potential with the intangibles to really add to her game. She is a solid defender on the ball as well. A lot to like about her. She is on the radar of many DII staffs.
