Brooke plays with strength and consistency. She embraces contact, rebounds in traffic, and finishes efficiently around the basket. She averaged over 11 points per game last season and does all the small things that keep possessions alive — boxing out, communicating, and setting solid screens. She has committed to play at Southern New Hampshire University.

Benz is an absolute terror in the interior. She’s a low post force that can create for herself in crowded areas. Not just an offensive presence though, Brooke is ferocious on defense too. The intense 2-way play from her is enough to have her listed here. She can really take hold of a game.

Brooke is a strong and steady forward/wing who brings physicality and presence. I first saw her in action during the Zero Gravity Stars and Stripes Classic, where she stood out as one of the most consistent impact players on the court. She establishes position early, rebounds on both ends, and finishes through contact.
During the 2024–25 high school season, Brooke averaged 11.5 points per game across 18 contests, scoring in double figures multiple times. She does the little things right—boxing out, moving well off the ball, and making smart, simple reads. She brings stability inside while playing within the team’s rhythm. A highly effective player that impacts the details of the game.

Losing a player the caliber of Elizabeth Lavoie is going to be a tough loss for Pemberton, but next season will have a loaded roster of talent, including forward Brooke Benz. She’s arguably the most exciting talent of the bunch, having herself quite an impressive 2023-24 season. She averaged just over 10 points per game as a sophomore with 12 double-digit scoring performances to her name. Really impressive interior talent with great skills on both sides of the ball and a great feel for the game in the paint.
