Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play in a quick style transition offense. I play the PF position generally, but have been expanding my role to include the SF and SG to expand my opportunities. I have good footwork in the paint and can handle the ball the length of the court and hit the perimeter shot.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a pretty aggressive workout routine in the off season and I work hard to prepare myself for the upcoming year. I'm in the gym 4-5 days per week in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Personality, I think I am usually pretty quite until I get to know you but I like to have fun and spend time with my teammates.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am in Beta Club and am involved with my church and local volunteering.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have learned that my success is dependent on the success of others and that one person can't do anything alone in a team sport and that others success is dependent on me taking care of my responsibilities. I've also learned that if I push myself and show my team and coaches that I'm willing to put in the extra work, others will follow so I've tried to lead by example.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
We all face challenges in one way or another, but most of mine have been not feeling that I have done enough or performed as good as I can for my team. Early in my career (Middle School), I barely got to play but I continued to work hard and have earned my role. Keeping up all the work in the gym when I wasn't getting to play was probably the biggest challenge but getting past that is valuable.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a college that will challenge me to continue to improve and use my drive to be a valuable part of the program. My goal is to push myself and continue to work and play at the highest level my skills will take me. I want to look back after my high school career and say "I was the best version of myself that I could have been."
