The senior guard is looking to close out her career the right way, and Brooke Nowak Brooke Nowak 6'0" | SG Notre Dame Preparatory | 2026 State AZ has the game to do it. She’s not flashy — she’s effective. Nowak does a little bit of everything: scores when needed, facilitates, defends, and rebounds her position. Her biggest asset in tournament play is experience. She understands pace, understands moments, and doesn’t get rattled. In tight games, that matters. If Notre Dame Prep makes a deep run, expect Nowak to be right in the middle of it, steady and productive.

Nowak did not play until the 2nd half, however she made a huge impact with her scoring ability and length. She has a high basketball IQ and displayed good three level scoring ability. Another big time guard prospect out of Notre Dame Prep.

Nowak and the growth in her game have been impressive. She is still more of a shooting guard, but I like her developing playmaking skills. She is much more confident in her ball handling, and that has made her passing improve as well. She should be in for a big senior season.

Brooke impressed me with her composure throughout the weekend. She is known more for her shooting, but it was her ball handling and patience that stood out to me. She has become very comfortable as a ball handler and facilitator. You combine that with her offense, and she becomes a dual threat.

Brooke Nowak Brooke Nowak 6'0" | SG Notre Dame Preparatory | 2026 State AZ is a rising star in the Notre Dame program. Standing at 5’10”, Brooke is more than willing to crash the boards, using her strength to gather rebounds and then push tempo. In transition, she sees the floor very well, advancing the ball early to open teammates and then filling in open spots as a threat in the trailer position. Brooke also excels at sliding in from the weak-side for offensive put-backs and/or drawing fouls. She is a very good one-on-one defender, using her length and speed to bottle up opponents, and is comfortable guarding most positions from 1 to 4. Brooke’s biggest strengths for the Saint program lies in her beautiful deep ball shooting. She is a legitimate zone buster and floor stretcher, ranking 2nd on the team in 3-pointers made over the past two seasons (40). As Brooke continues to turn up her aggression and offensive development, she will undoubtedly become a household name throughout the state.
