About Brooklyn

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my versatility. At 5'9", I can play both guard positions, handle the ball, attack the basket, create opportunities for my teammates, and knock down open shots. I also rebound well for a guard and can defend multiple positions. In games, I try to impact more than just scoring by making the right play, competing on defense, and doing whatever my team needs to win.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on improving my pace and timing, especially knowing when to attack, change speeds, create for my teammates, and let the game come to me. I want to continue becoming a more controlled and efficient guard who makes the right reads and plays at the right pace.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a college program that will challenge me academically and help me grow as a student-athlete and as a person. Basketball-wise, I want a competitive program where I can continue developing as a guard, play both on and off the ball, defend, and contribute to winning. I want coaches who believe in player development, communicate with their players, and create a strong team culture.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of basketball, I take my academics seriously and currently have a 3.92 GPA. I also compete in track and won a state championship in the triple jump. I’m competitive, hardworking, and always looking for ways to improve. My family is very important to me, and I try to be a good teammate and person both on and off the court.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m interested in studying psychology or a health-related field. I would like a career where I can work with and help others while continuing to learn more about people, health, and wellness.
