Brooklyn is a returning all-conference seasoned vet, proven winner, and team leader for the Windsor Wizards. She is an absolute force defensively because of her high motor and aggressive style. At 5’11, she moves her feet well and can guard multiple positions. Jiricek also contributes offensively by scoring at the rim, earning free-throws, and at times has shown the ability to knock down open 3’s. The ultimate “glue” player, Brooklyn will be a big x-factor for Windsor’s team success this season.

Jiricek was an impactful connector for the 17-9 group, impactful putting pressure on the rim and forcing the defense’s hand. Willing to make the extra pass when necessary, the ball rarely stuck in the wing’s hands for too long. She was particularly dependable on the defensive end, staying physical to grab rebounds and maintain strength against immediate pressure. Certainly a jack of all trades, the wing impacts the game in all the major areas, willing to do the dirty work when necessary.

A physical scorer around the basket, Jiricek’s usage and shot volume will certainly improve this season, allowing for a better look at her offensive versatility. ALready productive, grabbing rebounds on either end of the floor and pushing the break from those defensive sets, the forward is set for a potent year with one of the state’s top 5A programs. Windsor features a variety of versatile defensive wings who are both disciplined and gritty, Jiricek is no different.
