Brooklyn Whittington has developed into one of the most complete two-way guards around. Defensively, she thrives by applying relentless pressure, forcing opponents into uncomfortable situations and turning anticipation into steals and deflections. Offensively, she combines a team-first mentality with exceptional court vision, consistently finding teammates with accurate passes that many players simply don’t see. She’s capable of attacking the basket and finishing with either hand while also keeping defenses honest with her perimeter shooting. Her ability to impact virtually every aspect of the game makes her an invaluable presence on the floor.

A defensive specialist with offensive versatility, Whittington has already established herself as a First-Team All-League player. She’s tenacious on defense, constantly pressuring the ball and reading passing lanes to create turnovers. On offense, she shows vision well beyond her years, delivering cross-court passes with precision and selflessly creating opportunities for teammates. She can finish at the rim with either hand and stretch defenses with her shooting. As a junior, Whittington’s all-around game makes her a cornerstone for Cascade Christian’s future.

Brooklyn is a fantastic defender and makes many plays on the defensive side. She is quick on her feet and gets steals often. She matches up against opposing guards and can adjust to how she plays, being more physical on the court if needed. Offensively she scores the ball well and can knock down shots smoothly. 

Brooklyn has fantastic agility, showcasing her ability to move side to side quickly with her excellent defensive skills. She does a great job reading the opposing players and is able to get her hands involved in the pass lanes with ease to cause havoc for the other team. She will have the ball in her hands next season more and will be able to showcase her abilities to run the offense.
