These four have cracked the starting lineups for their respective teams and show a lot of potential and promise for the 2027 class. Here are some freshmen to keep an eye on for the 2023-24 season.
Yukiye Willis
Yukiye Willis
Willis is a smart player who has the combo of quickness, vision, and handle that you look for in a point guard. She attacked with a lot of hesitations against Blanchet and her ability to stop and start on drives kept defenders at bay and off kilter. In transition she immediately looks up the floor for passes ahead, and if nothings there she has the speed to push it up herself. She’s already an important player for Redmond and looks like their point guard of the future.
Brooklyn Whittington

The 5-foot-6 point guard was super active in Cascade’s press against Vashon, getting fingertips on passes and playing aggressively in the passing lanes all over the court. She has good speed with the ball, makes sure to go get the ball off of defensive boards, and already demonstrates the on-floor leadership of a natural point.
Stella Na
Stella Na
Na is a speedster with the ball in her hands and already has a pretty quick handle to weave through defenders, though she can be a little loose or dribble into tough spots. I’d expect that to get better with time, but she sets a good pace already and has the athleticism and size in the backcourt to be a tough matchup for smaller guards. She’s able to create space for the shot too, and although she wasn’t incredibly efficient with the jumper when I saw her, she’s not far off and could develop into a solid shooter down the line.
Schaff is already starting at Olympia and has a pretty well-rounded game to build off of. She’s active on the offensive end, showing good movement off the ball, crashing the boards, and making some nice drives in from the perimeter. She’s pretty fast too and can make plays in transition, shows some natural ability to make plays downhill, and has a shot to build on from 3-point. All in all, with her length and the skill set she currently has, she has a lot of potential to be an impact player going forward.
