Speaking of players of the year, Brooklynn earned that honor in the WOAC!  Mississinawa Valley won their conference, finishing unbeatable in league play, thanks a lot to Seubert and Paige Emrick. They’ve got a nice path into the district and then from there, their goal is to finally get through regionals. Strong, physical kid, good footwork at the rim, able to use the glass and solid defender.

I expect her game to elevate this season as she becomes the primary focus of the Hawks offense. Can hurt you inside or out, good handles, smooth without the ball. Great strong frame and is able to play a physical style if needed. Good midrange and can finish well.

Seubert’s court vision is fantastic! Pretty passes! She is tough to stop with the 6-8 footers, and showing she has the skills to hit from deep.  Wow- beautiful pass just past the half court line, feeding the inside with a bounce pass. Powerful drives to the bucket! (Below, shooting)

She has a strong frame under the boards, she’s long and athletic who can defend with her length. Can play inside or out, very effective. Her game has totally blossomed the last couple of years in high school and now she is ready to take that next step!

Coaches better get in on her now, as her stock has risen. Moves off the watch list and when I saw her a few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised how much her game has grown. Strong physical presence with a great catch and score in the paint. Moves well and can score in transition. Hidden gem ready to come out!

She can turn a mistake into two points, stops you off the dribble, and reads the play and defender fairly well. She has a clean stroke that rises well near the rim. She puts a lot of effort into every play, demonstrating a great desire to improve and learn the game. Whatever position she’s put in she gets the job done.

Keep an eye on this one for the Blackhawks, as I expect a productive season from the junior. She has great moves to the rim. Elevates well and can get baseline and score. Improved her game!   Mechanical and smart, finds the open spot.
