Haven Ford is the best player in Rowan County history, a 3,000 point scorer and Miss Basketball for 2023. Replacing her will not be an easy task at all. Walker should be the next one up for the Viking after being the third leading scorer for Rowan last season.

Walker is the youngest player included on here, but her potential was shining through. She actually brought the ball down the floor for the Vikings and she did a good job handling the pressure that came with that role. She has good handles and can get into the paint on her drives. Walker has a great outside shot and when she catches ready to fire, she can get her shot off quickly. Her length and basketball IQ are definitely impressive, especially considering the fact that she’s still in middle school (Walker is actually a class of 2027 player).

Walker is actually only in the class of 2027, we just don’t yet have that option available on the site. Walker is a really impressive young guard. She runs the floor consistently and was finishing well in transition. She was finishing layups on both sides of the rim while also showing off her outside shot. Walker can handle the ball well and was making great passes.
