Brynli put on a gritty and tough performance, showing she had a lot of heart against Frederick Douglass. At one point, she had to step away due blood coming from above her eye from a cut, then got stitched up and returned to the game without missing a beat! She made an early impact with a strong drive and finish in traffic in the first quarter, then scored with a tear-drop floater in the second quarter. Brynli’s acrobatic finishes at the rim were impressive, adjusting mid-air and converting difficult shots at the rim. Her ability to battle through adversity and keep attacking the defense was incredible.

had a great experience during the live period and made the most of her opportunity to make an impression on college coaches. Brynli was a big reason for Next Level 2027 going 4-1 at the Clash. She played lockdown defense, shot the ball very well from the perimeter, and had multiple 20 point games.

Pernell is going to find ways to score no matter how hard you prepare to stop her. She plays much bigger than her size. When she steps onto the court, she has a fearless mindset and competes hard from start to finish. Pernell has very deep range on her shot and is currently shooting 41.1% from 3 on the season. To make that percentage even more impressive, you have to consider the fact that she is also averaging 2.6 made triples per game. She’s got good handles and a great feel for the game. Her team has played a hard schedule and is off to a 7-2 start. Pernell is averaging a team-best 16.1 PPG and has been a major part of Simon Kenton’s success.
