Caitlin, a guard for Kalamazoo Basketball Academy , stood out during Saturday morning play at the PGH MI State Tournament with her toughness, energy, and all-around effort. She attacked aggressively off the wing, blowing past defenders and getting all the way to the basket for strong finishes at the rim. Caitlin also made a major impact with her hustle, consistently outworking opponents to come away with multiple offensive rebounds and extra possessions for her team. From the perimeter, she showed confidence knocking down shots from beyond the arc, adding another layer to her offensive game. Along with her scoring, she moved the ball well and made good decisions as a passer. Defensively, Caitlin stayed active with quick hands and competed hard throughout the game.

Caitlin showed her speed running the floor especially in transition for Team 8 at The Expo on Saturday. Caitlin pushed the ball quickly in transition and used a nifty high pick-up eurostep to score a contested layup. Caitlin drove hard from the wing to cause a foul and made an effective bounce pass to her teammate in transition. She used a low crossover dribble and pushed the ball quickly down the court to draw a foul on her layup, then swished the free throw.
