About Caitlyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 6’1” combo guard and floor general who controls pace, distributes the ball, and makes my teammates better. I use my size, vision, and IQ to create mismatches, score at all three levels, and defend multiple positions. I impact the game on both ends and do whatever my team needs to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive, coachable, and driven. I take pride in playing with poise and confidence and leading by example. I don’t back down from challenges, and I’m always working to elevate my game and the people around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m an honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA and actively involved in academic leadership programs at my school. I’ve earned multiple academic achievement awards for maintaining high grades while competing year-round.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills through running the offense and leading my teammates on the floor. I believe in accountability, teamwork, and playing with unselfishness. Off the court, I volunteer in youth basketball clinics and community service projects in my hometown.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I faced was stepping into a bigger leadership role after key players graduated. It pushed me to grow my voice, become more confident, and learn how to lead a team on and off the court. That experience helped shape me into a better player and person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a program with a strong family culture, competitive winning environment, and a coaching staff that will develop me and push me to reach my full potential. Academically, I want a school that values excellence in the classroom and supports student-athletes on and off the court.
