Aiken County, where Lawrence plays and Pelion in Lexington County where Fields balls out is literally separated by a mere county line. Fields is a two-sport athlete who has also participated in track and field events throughout her athletic career. Even when the ball is not in her possession, she maintains a high level of activity and energy with the ability to turn defense into offense – including with transition baskets. Fields excels as a ball carrier who can handle the rock even against a sea of opposing defenders without turning the ball over. She will also attack the rim and can provide production for her team as well from the free throw line.

Fields sports the maroon and gold colors of 2A Pelion which is located in the southern portion of Lexington County. Throughout her sporting career, basketball has not been the only sport she has competed in as her athletic resume has included track and field events. Fields makes her presence known in any game with her ability to attack the rim and that can lead to either a layup or an opportunity to sink a couple of free throws. She displays excellent ball handling skills even against a number of defenders that probably would get many a ball handler to turn said ball over. Fields stays active away from the ball and can turn her stellar defense into offense including in transition.
