About Carly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong Power forward. Particularly strong on rebounds and creating plays for teammates. Strong scorer under the goal and at the free throw line. 21ppg/10 rbds. for Junior Season 2024/25 at Holy Savior Menard.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very driven to be successful in my athletic and academic careers. Very dependable, loyal and a strong team mate. Energetic and powerful on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

8th grade Broke School Rebound Record at 21 rebounds 9the grade Broke school record twice. High of 29 rebounds. All District Second team LGR all state honorable mention 10th grade First in school history to reach 1000 rebounds Reached 1000 career points All State Second Team All District First Team All Parish First Team 11th Grade All-State First Team, All-District First Team

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am an excellent team player with great court vision when creating plays and opportunities for my team mates. Strong rebounder and finisher under the goal. Strong Leader on my High school team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had to sit out all of my Jr High season due to Covid pneumonia and regain my stamina to play HS that year. Last year my grandma who was like a 2nd mother to me passed away. Despite that I was at school every day without absence so that I could continue to play basketball. We beat our school’s rival that week for her. That was challenging but I didn’t want to let my team or myself down.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that can give me the opportunity to play basketball and also achieve my academic goals that has a culture that is a fit for me. Looking to play at any level where I can be a significant part of the program's success.
