Carly was the best guard in the 14U division.  She can shoot, pass, handle the ball, and defend: skills that weren’t always a given this weekend in the 14U division. While her on-ball defense was locked in, her elite off-ball movement is what truly separated her from the pack. In an age where most players stand on the perimeter waiting for the ball to find them, Carly was one of only three players all weekend who understood how to manipulate space. Her constant movement and knack for finding openings in the defense made her an absolute nightmare to guard.

An up-tempo guard who handles the ball well in the open floor, consistently keeping her head up and looking to advance the ball. A true combo guard who can help with the pressure against the press and transition to the shooting guard position. Shows solid shooting form and mechanics, and does a great job of relocating off the ball to find gaps and spot up.

A tough, competitive defender who plays solid on-ball defense and excels at jumping passing lanes, creating deflections and steals. An incoming freshman who will be asked to play significant minutes at her high school level next season.

Carly Roy Carly Roy 5'4" | PG/SG Luther high school | 2030 OK is a well-rounded guard who brings value on both ends of the floor. She shoots the three-ball effectively, providing a consistent perimeter scoring threat. Defensively, she’s a pest, applying pressure, staying active in passing lanes, and making it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. She also shows solid ball-handling skills, allowing her to handle pressure and help initiate the offense. Her combination of shooting, defense, and control makes her a dependable and impactful player.
