The Cape Henry Collegiate standout introduced herself to the crowd with an impressive all-around performance. Playing a year up, Rivera set the tone with relentless on-ball defensive pressure. Often forcing turnovers, rushed passes, and disrupted possessions throughout the game.

Long, athletic, and equipped with a quick first step and strong lateral movement. Rivera is adept at creating problems in the passing lanes. Offensively, that same explosiveness allowed her to attack defenders off the dribble, get downhill, and finish at the rim. Her energy and defensive instincts immediately stood out, making her one of the more intriguing young guards to watch moving forward.
