Willams provided salient play as a lead guard in this matchup. She was tasked with going headfirst at strapping defenders all game long. The senior guard caught a rhythm while initiating early offense and evenly distributed the ball to teammates. Carolina was not afraid of contact either, especially when penetrating. She also made a few timely plays on defense; Williams was able to help teammates out by stepping up and plucking the ball from players on the drive. Her fearlessness was a staple for Hoosac in this matchup.
