Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive defense, love blocking shots, love getting steals. I play with a high motor, love to run. I have solid ball handling and have worked with DJ Thompson at Peak Topia in Apex, NC for ball handling work as well as strength training.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very mentally strong. I don’t allow much to bother me. I like to have fun with my teammates, we joke around and just have a great time together.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m already working at age 14! I work at Dribble and Swish which is a basketball training facility and I’m one of the coaches for the youth programs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my club team I’ve learned to build relationship as we tend to spend all day together at tournaments! We play for each other and we have each others backs. My teammates look to me to make a play in defense when we need a spark, which I really appreciate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, my mother is currently beating stage 4 breast cancer which developed in 2022. It has taught me that nothing is guaranteed and I have to work hard and live each day to its fullest. I draw strength from my mother who shows tremendous bravery every day. She is thriving and I’m proud of her.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a school that hopefully offers both education degrees so that I can teach and possibly coach women’s basketball one day. I’m also interested in Marine Biology. I’ve been very interested in UNCW, but also I like the rocky mountains and the Colorado area would be a fun college experience.
