Defensively, Carrington gets after it! Sticks to her girl like glue! I like her motor and how she takes care of the basketball! Knocked down a big 3 at the end of the half! Orchestrates the offense very well!

Whitefish Bay’s backcourt is an elite unit. Balthasar earned a role this season and found herself in closing lineups. Her ability to drive and create for others fits the speed and tempo the Blue Dukes wanted to play at. She may not have had the role to show everything she could do at the high school level, which is ok. However, Balthasar will have a long enough leash to expand her game this summer with her Wisconsin Impact team, who finished as the runner-up in 15U EYCL last season.

has a natural ability to create opportunities on offense. She handles the ball extremely well and uses her body to create angles to the basket. I’ve seen her work off the ball to make smart cuts which open up the offensive flow for her team. She has good-looking shot mechanics and has shown she can shoot from beyond the arc. Balthasar also has the ability to create her own shot off the dribble, a valuable skill that adds to her versatility. As a sophomore stepping into what I believe will be a larger role on the varsity team, I’m excited to see how she performs. Her quickness and defensive ability make her a two-way player who will have a significant impact for Whitefish Bay.
