Impressed with Carter’s play this summer and the way she continued to make an impact throughout the competition. Her size is a game changer at her position, especially when you add in her ability to be a knockdown shooter. Her quick release can change the flow of an offense at any moment, while she can also put the ball on the floor and make things happen in the paint.

Cowan caught fire in the scrimmages, knocking down multiple three-point shots. Her court sense helps her slip into open space, ready for the kickout. Cowan thrives in catch-and-shoot moments, especially from inside-out kickout passes. Her quick release makes her a constant threat from deep. Cowan figures to be part of a great trio of incoming freshmen for Palisade High School.

Carter Cowan Carter Cowan 5'10" | SG/PG Palisade | 2030 State CO showed her three-level scoring ability while also being capable of creating her own looks offensively. She was also vocal on the defensive end, communicating and staying involved throughout possessions.

Carter is a two-way prospect because of how many different positions she can defend. Defensively she has the size that make her stand out while offensively she’s comfortable stretching the floor from three or attacking off the dribble. Her ability to impact both ends of the floor makes her name to keep an eye on.
