Expert Analysis
Byron Xerxes Livsey | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
There aren’t too many smooth bucket getters in the state anymore.. and Vyverman might be one of the last few. This kid can simply score from wherever on the court, and she doesn’t exhaust herself when getting to her spots. She’s a legitimate 3-4 level scorer (with or without the ball) and should be able to translate these skills to college with no problem.

When you think of a pure scorer, Vyverman comes to mind as one of the best in the state, and what she’ll bring to Western Michigan that many players don’t have is her mid-range ability. She’s a headache to deal with on the offensive side, and it’s purely because of the pace and aggression that she plays with.

Vyverman is more than a shooter; she’s a legit scorer, and her touch and feel in the midrange area is what separates her from a lot of other scorers/shooters in this class. She knows how to get to the spot and rise up for the bucket, or she can move throughout the court and wait for her team to find her for some easy catch-and-shoots. Her pace and skill set will translate easily.

Vyverman is one of the more all-around offensive threats in this class, and she continues to show her ability to score at a high rate. Most coaches will need their best scorers to be able to play off the ball just as well with the ball, and I believe if Casey consistently shows that, the offers will continue to come in. Strong upside.

Vyverman has a quiet confidence about her, but the kid simply gets the job done. She’s one of those prospects that could honestly get better once she’s in a college program. With and without the ball, she can impact a game. Tremendous upside.

Vyverman has always shown her ability to score the ball, and has the skill set to be a legitimate playmaker as well. She plays the game at her own pace and doesn’t allow the defense to speed her up. Players like this stand out to college coaches—her game can be built around, or she can be plugged into a system. Looking forward to seeing another leap from her this upcoming high school season.

Vyverman just plays the game at such a controlled pace. She’s never sped up or rushed into the decisions that she makes. Fluid and consistent form that usually translates to bottom of the net from beyond the arc. On the defensive of the ball, she displays strong footwork to do deal with faster and shiftier guards.

Casey has a huge amount of potential. The pace of her game, the aggression of her shot selection, and her IQ are all key to what level she’ll be at when HS season starts. She plays the game smooth but seems to have another gear that she can switch into. A definite piece to build around.

Casey is making her mark on the 2026 class. Her game shows improvement every time I see her play. Super shifty with great lateral movement. Her length is just right and uses every bit of her frame. Super form in all of her shooting.

Vyverman has all the intangibles to be a dominant player in her class, let alone the state. The frame can’t go unnoticed, and her ability to score at multiple levels is present too. Great hands on both sides of the ball, and defensively she can guard and stop multiple positions. Tremendous upside.
