Callahan has been on a heater since making the move to Providence this year, and what it’s shown besides her ability to score at a high rate is that no matter who she’s playing with, she knows how to fill the role that’s needed of her. Pepperdine is getting a player who could be a game-changer for them within the next 2-4 years.

Landrie Callihan is a lengthy SG/SF at 6’2. She is athletic for her size and she has a calculated play-style when she takes the floor. She can impact a contest in a a hurry because of how hard she hustles and her natural ability. She already has a handful of collegiate offers to compete at the next level. If she keeps it up throughout the rest of Summer, I’m sure those offers will continue to flow in.

Her frame is a major key to all the success she’s been having these past couple weeks, and when you factor in her ability to play a versatile style game, you understand why shes been a top topic. Defensively, she’s paint blanket for her team, and on the opposite side of the ball her impact is beyond the arc, and in the inside for boards.

This past HS season Callahan put up 26 in the second half of a game en route to finishing with 32.. but it’s the 20 rebounds that really make the double double stand out. This kid is full of potential and has the size that translates immediately to the next level.. hints to some of the offers that’s been secured. With nothing but time on her side.. Landrie is a shoe in for having a huge upside.
