When a player tried to face cut in front of her, she immediately stopped them, redirected them, and then switched on the wing to force a turnover. Luster was active all over the defensive end, diving for loose balls and making hustle plays. Offensively, she was always moving, never standing still, and spaced the floor like a high-IQ player. Catherine doesn’t mind doing the gritty parts of the game—at one point she set a hard screen, absorbing the hit from a defender going full speed, which freed her teammate for an easy bucket, showing how selfless she is. Luster also displayed great shot selection off the catch; even the ones she didn’t make were good looks that barely rolled out. Every team needs a player like Catherine—someone who gives her all on both ends of the floor and makes a major impact on the game
