She fit in quite well at Roncalli because of their style of play, and she was helpful in their run to the Class 3A State Finals this season. She is a smaller lead guard, but she is quick, fast, and feisty. She is always around the ball, she can split defenders and create for teammates, and she has improved her perimeter shooting as well. This season, she averaged 6.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game for a guard-heavy Lady Royals team, plus she was 29-77 (38%) from ‘3’.

This was my first opportunity to watch Catie play, and she made a strong impression. She impacted the game by effectively getting others involved, showing strong ball-handling skills and poise as a lead guard. Defensively, she was active in passing lanes and competed on the ball, creating disruption for Pike’s guards. Her ability to influence the flow of the game went beyond scoring. Catie finished the night with 7 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals, highlighting her well-rounded performance.
