Celia was already one of the better guards in ’26. She’s transferring into ’27 and joining a powerhouse Tilton program that’s elated to have her services. Tilton has bolstered their roster and made it a point to have topnotch players across the board. Neilson is going to be such an asset for them this season.

Celia was eye-catching the few games caught this AAU season. Of course many come for Bella Owumi Bella Owumi 5'9" | SG Tilton School | 2027 State #32 Nation New E , or the playmakers that can help get her the ball, but what about this talented, yet underrated forward? Neilson did all the little things, helping propel MCW Starz over top-rated teams in these extremely competitive matchups. Celia is poised, liable to duck in at any time, face-cuts when defenders are sleeping, backdoor cuts to the basket at opportune times and she also makes all the right reads that lead to these connective passes. Celia is one of the main contributors to the easy flow of the offense. She also runs the floor hard, can put the ball on the floor while assessing the defense, plus Neilson can knock down the swing 3 with confidence.

Although she’s playing with nationally ranked talent, Celia has found ways to come through for her team routinely. Please don’t sleep on Neilson; this school season will be a bigtime statement year from her.

Celia is a versatile perimeter player that can legitimately play multiple positions. The 6’0 guard has a strong attack game off the dribble and can finish comfortably with both hands from various peculiar angles. She brings floor general tendencies to the court by constantly probing while keeping her head up to make the necessary dish to a teammate. Limited turnovers are another bonus that comes with Celia having the ball in her hands. She can easily advance the ball which leads to easy offense for her squad. Neilson uses all of her frame to allow her dribbles to carry her to her spots on the floor. She also has a decent 3-point shot that allows her to spice things up and keep defenders uneasy. Neilson exudes confidence when the ball is her hand. Efficient offense is almost a byproduct of having her on the floor. Without the ball in her hand, expect her to find players to off-ball screen or trying to duck in after passing and screening away. As a defender, Celia is very capable of heckling multiple perimeter position players with her stronger frame. Although she doesn’t use over the top measures to make plays on the ball, her tactics are effective. LeMoyne offered her in August and she could have a few more after a successful season this year.
