Bella is a certified 5-star elite prospect. There’re no two ways about it; this is a special player that has the combination of having a high upside and an extremely advanced skillset. She’s also one of the fiercest competitors New England has to offer. Not many want to come fact-to-face Owumi.

It was to be expected that Bella would come into Tilton and have a major imprint. However, her dynamic gravity just couldn’t be fully grasped. It’s not always easy for a high achieving guard to affect other areas of the game the way she does. Its Owumi’s intangibles as well as team-first attitude that put her in an even different light than other top-end talent.

Most recently in the Girls Hoops Series National Championship, Owumi went off for 25 pts, 8 reb plus 3 stl. What was most impressive about this stat-line was that Bella was so efficient, going 10-13 from the field. It doesn’t get much better than that. on a major stage.

Bella transferred into Tilton for her junior season and immediately made an impact on a program that had already won a Class AAA title and a national prep championship. She already holds Division I offers from schools including Indiana, Penn State, and Oregon. She recently led Tilton back to the Girls Hoop Series National Championship, scoring 25 points on an efficient 10-of-13 shooting while adding 8 rebounds and 3 steals. At 6 feet tall, she combines size, strength, and quickness, making her extremely difficult to stop when attacking the basket. In the mid-range she is also very effective, as defenders struggle to contest her high release.

The tenacious drive of Owumi combined with advanced skillet on or off the ball make her one of the most premier players the region has seen in some time. She even plays stifling defense, never giving opposing players an easy look. It’s not every day that a guard of her caliber comes around.

What hasn’t been said about this incredible player? She’s not just an elite ’27 player, Bella is the cream of the crop when it comes to New England players regardless of class. The special talent was featured on countess media outlets, including some prominent ones that showcased her majestic skillset in premier matchups. Not only was she dishing out regular ankle breakers, but Bella was also creating space in a manner others just couldn’t produce. She’s an excellent creator that requires second and third defenders. That may not be enough to stop her though, Owumi’s shot making ability, agility, plus sheer athletic build make her one of the hardest guards to stop.

The 2-way elite star is well known in the space, but she’s been outstanding in the last few matchups. Bella was one of the standout performers in the Spartan Classic a few days ago. Owumi puts on a show each time she hits the floor. Her fascinating play on both ends requires opponents to bring their ‘A’ game every time. It’s even more impressive that Owumi gets the best out of her competitors and still produces at the level she does. Teams load up on her as well as attempt to take her traditional methods away, but she just can’t be stopped. Whether its hitting swing 3’s, getting to the line or finishing through players, Bella remains a constant threat. Not only a potent offensive player, but she also takes on other team’s best players without second thought. There’s never a time where she’s getting taken advantage, even though she faces some of the most proficient offensive players in the region on a regular basis. The highly competitive nature of Owumi in combination with her physical tools makes her quite the staunch defender.
