It’s very difficult taking everyone’s best shot at all times and having an expectation to perform, but Bella proved she can handle that very weight on her shoulders. Owumi also demonstrated that she isn’t complacent with her stature. In games where all eyes were on her, Bella outpaced the rest and strained her rivals with her dynamic attacking game.

Bella impressed at a recent tournament in Ohio with MCW Starz. She has a shifty handle and changes speeds well to keep defenders off balance. Around the basket, Bella uses excellent footwork, including step-through moves, to finish, and she’s also comfortable backing defenders down in the paint.

She showed that every possession mattered and she capitalized at crucial moments of the game. She was the clear focal point of the opponent’s defensive strategy, receiving heavy pressure from astute defenders. However, Owumi prevailed in all the right moments.
