Charley returns at point guard for Grand Rapids Christian after earning First Team All-Conference honors last season. The Eagles finished tied for third in the OK White, and Charley will be an important piece as they look to move up the conference standings this winter. She brings a nice combination of playmaking and shooting to the backcourt, creating opportunities for her teammates while also being capable of knocking down shots from behind the arc. Charley also makes an impact on the defensive end, where she is a pesky on-ball defender who can make things difficult for opposing guards. Her ability to run the offense, create for others, provide perimeter shooting and bring consistent defensive pressure gives Grand Rapids Christian an experienced point guard to build around. With so many of last year’s First Team selections graduating, Charley enters the season as one of the proven returning players in the OK White.
