How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Defensively I am able to assist in rebounds, blocks, and steals. I am fast paced and am able to read the court and play aggressive. I thrive off fast breaks and my team utilizes me under the basket for easy points. Working as a team to make smart passes, not creating turnovers, and bringing energy. Adapting to opponents and teammates playing style along with being able to change my position.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong basketball IQ, and am able to read the court, anticipate potential moves, and follow the ball. I hold myself accountable along with my teammates. I love good energy while being a competitor. I am a great teammate and am able to work and play with anyone after reading their playing style.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Michigan Mystics, REAL, Coaching 3/4th Grade girls basketball, assist in the school youth programs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was the team captain my 9th grade year and developed team leadership skills. My attitude and charisma while I am on the court or bench affect my team and can change the dynamics for everyone. I think teamwork helps build success with the team but gives me a skillset for other areas of my life such as communication.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

While at summer camp going into my sophomore year, I tore my ACL, MCL, Meniscus, and broke my Tibia. I had to learn and adapt by sitting on the bench and feeling disconnected to the sport, teammates, and feeling alone. This has challenged me mentally and physically and waiting for my comeback as I am just returning to the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for an academic program that will help me achieve my goals in the medical field. A campus life with organizations, clubs, and activities that connect people and bring them together. Facilities that have a standard of living in amenities that will allow me to be comfortable as I plan on attending out of state.
