About Charlotte

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On defense, I am fast and will give my 100% the entire game and I always strive to be a pest. I may be 5'7 but I averaged about 3.5 blocks and 8 steals. On offense, I always love the physicality of driving, and I use my 30 inch vert to help. I have great handles and can deal with pressure and get through traps well. I am a great shooter too at about 40% from 3.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hard-working, upbeat and energetic, and obsessed with the game and improving myself and my teammates anyway I can.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

My school sadly does not give out academic awards. (if it did best BELIEVE I would get them) I am a great leader and strive to communicate clearly and lead my team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a great leader and strive to communicate clearly and lead my team. I emphasize team-building and enhancing the environment with my team beach clean-ups on my island a couple homeless shelters local organizations on Orcas Island done recycling/gardening community work taught school children English in Guatemala.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In basketball off-season, I am unable to get to a gym or sometimes even a hoop, and no one is available to play with. For someone as obsessed as I am, this is a challenge, but I believe it is happening FOR ME. I will dribble for hours on concrete, I will go on runs to any near hoops, I will play in downpour and wind storms, I will play in 100 degrees or shovel myself a spot in the snow.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a good community, maybe smaller classes with sports management or coaching classes available, and (of course) one where I will hopefully be on the team and able to contribute as best I can.
