A bit of time on the AAU circuit certainly was a help to this name from 5A Division I Byrnes and she is sure continue to build a profile for herself given she plays for one of the premier 5A teams in the state. Dukes typically operates in the backcourt as a two guard and especially excels on defense. She plays with a heads-up mentality which will enable her to take advantage of an opposing team’s miscues. Dukes also has superb ball handling skills and the speed she has when possessing the rock can be massively useful when making plays in the transition game.
