Chezney Stone Chezney Stone 5'8" | CG Conway Christian | 2027 State AR has proven to be the leader that Conway Christian needs to excel, and she continues to impress on both sides of the ball.

For a guard, Stone is a great rebounder, proving it against White County Central when she grabbed 12 boards to go along with her 16 points. She has had several stat-stuffing performances this year as well, like against Conway St. Joseph, where she had 17 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.

Rebounding is one of Stone’s specialties, as she outworks everyone on the floor to grab every rebound in sight. She also relies on her athleticism to give her the edge. Defense is also clearly something she prides herself on, as Stone plays hounding on-ball defense all night, forcing numerous turnovers a night. Of course, offensively, Stone will make you pay if you leave her open from beyond the arc.

The Conway Christian star has been very impressive for the Warriors on the defensive end, shutting down the opposition along the perimeter.

Stone’s best defensive performance was against the Spurs, where she stole the ball from the opposition 6 times, along with scoring 9 points. She has great instincts on the defensive end, which have already attracted some college attention. Stone can see the future with the way that she interrupts the passing lanes, seemingly knowing just where the ball is going at all times. 

The 2027 guard is also a fantastic facilitator. She had 12 points and 8 assists against the Oklahoma Legacy, which was not long after posting 8 points and 4 assists versus the Houston Aces. The Conway Christian star knows how and when to make the next pass while also being able to hit open shots from the perimeter.

Chezney Stone Chezney Stone 5'8" | CG Conway Christian | 2027 State AR could be a breakout candidate for next season, but her great two-way play will be something for opposing teams to watch out for during the remainder of the AAU slate.

Chezney Stone Chezney Stone 5'8" | CG Conway Christian | 2027 State AR was impressive in her sophomore season, showcasing a high IQ and a solid outside shooting ability. Her solid play has been noticed by hometown Central Baptist College, which has already sent her an offer.

Stone is an excellent 3-point shooter who is automatic off the catch. She only attempts good shots from outside, making sure that her team gets the highest percentage shot, even if she is the one shooting. If a defender closes out too hard, then she can drive by them and get to the cup.

Something that most young players do not know how to do is how to make the extra pass. She does this extremely well, making the right play every time down the floor.

Conway Christian’s Chezney Stone Chezney Stone 5'8" | CG Conway Christian | 2027 State AR received an offer from hometown Central Baptist College before the season began, and so far this year, she is providing evidence as to why she deserved that offer this early in her career.

Stone is an excellent offensive player who can make plays inside and out. Stone, a lefty, excels when she has a chance to drive on the left side (her strong side). She initiates contact in the lane and finishes amongst the trees. Stone can also attempt a high-arching floater if she is unable to get close enough to the rim.

From the outside, Stone can create her own offense. She is accustomed to having the defense draped all over her, so she is effective when using a separation move. In particular, Stone uses the pull-back to get the defense off of her, then she raises up and knocks down the triple. She is also a solid catch-and-shoot 3-point shooter.
