Drew Central’s star just keeps rising in the ranking, but she is still not getting the collegiate attention she deserves. However, I think she will surprise a lot of people this year.
Like several other players mentioned in this article, Anderson is highly versatile. She handles the ball well, being able to go coast-to-coast on the fastbreak if she pleases. Anderson is a great finisher, and she can score anywhere in the paint, against any defender.
Anderson can also play as a traditional power forward or center. She can post up on the block, back her defender down, and score with ease. Rebounding comes naturally for her, and she can get it down on both ends. Defensively, Anderson has shown she can block shots at a high level.
Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR is one of the state’s best bigs, and she will use her senior season to prove that to everyone.

Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR is an unstoppable player when she has the ball in the post. Whether in the high or low post, every matchup is a mismatch.
After earning all-conference and all-state this past season, Anderson is looking to run it back with her Drew Central squad. Despite going 22-8 during the regular season, Drew Central missed out on the 3A state tournament, but their superstar is going to get them to the tournament one way or another.
With Anderson’s strength and athleticism, there is no stopping her inside. If she has her back to the basket, she can spin off the defender and score, or back them all the way under the basket, ending in a similar result. She can also catch the ball around the free throw line and get to the basket in just a couple steps. She also has the ability to step back and shoot a jumper over tough defense.
Shaq says it best: whenever a player like Anderson has her matchup, it is “Barbeque Chicken Alert!” That is why I believe she will find her way into the top 25 of this class.

Every time I watch Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR play, I can tell she is on a mission, whether that is to knock the defense down and score over them, or to send their shots flying into next week.
Anderson looks to be the most talented player on the floor at any given time. On offense, she cannot be stopped once she starts backing you down in the post. She will push the defense under the basket and score, but she has also improved her out-of-position play. She is comfortable dribbling the ball down the floor and hitting in-rhythm mid-range jumpers.
Anderson is very athletic, and Drew Central uses that to their advantage. They have one particular play-call where Anderson moves around screens off the ball and they lob it up to her at the basket. She leaps to grab it and finishes the layup.
As I alluded to on defense, Anderson will send shots packing. She is an aggressive shot-blocker, making a statement every time she gets a paw on the ball. Opposing bigs cannot back her down in the post. She is stronger than everyone else, so just go ahead and pass away from her.
Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR has had some monster statlines this season. Most recently, she had 15 points, 17 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block against Rison. At the moment, Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR at #38 is too low. Off the top of my head, I would say that Anderson is the best post player coming out of the 3A classification, and so far this season, she is tearing up the 3A-8.
Anderson has had quite the junior season so far, posting monster statlines in almost every game for the 9-2 Drew Central Lady Pirates. She started the year with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals in the win over Crossett in the season opener. Then in her next game versus Junction City, Anderson posted a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds, including 3 steals. Then against Dermott just a night later, Anderson put up 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals. More recently, Anderson dominated Star City High School with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks, and in Drew Central’s last game against Helena Central, she had 19 points and 10 rebounds in only 2.5 quarters.
It is clear that no one can handle Anderson. She is a dominant paint scorer who pushes defenders off of her. She is a great finisher and a great offensive rebounder, earning second-chance opportunities for her team. Anderson can also step out and knock down a mid-range jumper, but playing bully-ball in the paint is her forte.
Most of the statlines I mentioned earlier featured Anderson recording multiple steals. She plays with active hands for every single possession, tipping away passes and getting a hand on the opposition’s dribble. If the opposing ball-handler gets through the first line of Lady Pirate defenders, Anderson is right there in the middle, ready to send their shot into next week, which she did a lot of in the 4-block performance against Star City.
Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR holds an offer from Lyon College, but if she continues to put up performances like what we have seen this season, she is going to be hearing from more people in the near future.

Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR already has an offer from Lyon College as of August 29th, but if she has the junior season I think she will have, then she will receive some more mail.
I do not understand how Anderson does not have more collegiate offers with her ability to move on the court. She can play the power forward or center position, but she can also play some small forward. Anderson is very athletic and has a great feel for the game. She handles the ball comfortably and takes whatever the defense gives her. Anderson can post up her defender and push her under the basket, or she can beat them off the dribble. If she has an open mid-range shot from the elbow, Anderson will not hesitate to take and make the open look.
On defense, Anderson shows off her strength and brawn with her ability to shut down the paint. She is a rim protector who swats multiple shots a game, while pulling down double-digit rebounds like it is nothing.
Chloe Anderson Chloe Anderson 6'0" | PF Drew Central | 2026 State AR is a double-double machine who can dribble as well as some guards. If she adds a consistent jumpshot to the mix, there is no way that larger colleges will be able to stay away from her potential.
