was knocking down shots from deep on repeat and showing off why the opposing coach kept yelling, “Shooter!” when she got the ball. She was doing a nice job moving with the ball to get the best angle and find her open teammate. She uses good ball fakes to lose her defenders whether she’s making a pass or pulling up for the shot.

knows how to be shifty with the ball, and she keeps her eyes peeled for the best play to help her team get some points. What’s even more automatic than her ball handling is her shot from around the perimeter. She can pull up quickly off the dribble, or she shoots well off the pass. She’s quick getting to the hoop finishing at the rim on both sides.

Galombeck is one of our favorite players to watch. She is athletic, she is skilled, she plays hard, and she defends with pride. When the basketball is in Galombeck’s hands, you can’t take your eyes off of her. She makes positive things happen when she is on the court. Galombeck can create space for her jump shot and knock down the deep three. She also attacks the rim and scores through contact.

As Hough’s primary ball handler and leading scorer, Chloe has been high on our radar since a very impressive showing at the North Carolina Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo in 2023. Chloe does some really good things when the ball is in her hands. She understands how to attack the lane and is not afraid to go to the rim. She can get hot in a hurry and will earn trips to the free throw line after contact. She can play either of the guard spots but I really like her at the PG position which allows her play the half court game and execute the offense according to her fit. Chloe is a prospect long overdue for a breakout year and this season could certainly be it.

Chloe may have had the play of the day when she drove baseline and hit a beautiful up and under scoop shot through traffic. This star from Hough High can play and is truly an exciting guard to watch. She had numerous plays that left defenders scratching their head as she is very deceptively quick. I would have no problem playing Chloe on or off the ball. She knows how to keep the defense off balance as she showed off an array moves that allowed her to get opened for shots. She was also able to knock down a nice looking jumper after getting rid of her defender with a spin move. She can shoot it from mid range and she can shoot it from deep. She is a flat out elite level shooter that will shoot it with confidence. She gets nice rotation on the ball with her quick release and she just knows how to pick her spots. She has such an excellent feel for the game and she is bound to do big things at Hough over the next two seasons.

makes some excellent plays coming off the dribble whether she attacks the basket taking it all the way or steps back to put up her jumper. She has some nice range with her shot, too, being able to make it all around the perimeter. She is quick getting up the court looking for a long pass in transition from her teammates, and she can score through any kind of contact that may be waiting for her.

was an excellent ball handler attacking the gaps and finding the opening to put up her shot. She did a nice job using her handles to create some open space or draw her defenders towards her to open up the court for her teammates’ shots. She can easily get to the basket herself finishing at the rim.
