Expert Analysis
Johnny Vick | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A lightning-quick guard who competes at a high level on both ends of the floor. She showed the ability to knock down the outside jumper, forcing defenses to extend and opening up driving lane. A nice change of direction off the bounce, getting downhill and attacking the rim.
Nice vision making the right reads and finding open post players or knocking down shooters on the perimeter.
Defensively, she’s a true ball hawk. Whether applying pressure on the ball or reading passing lanes, she creates turnovers. Her low stance and quick lateral movement allow her to stay in front and disrupt opposing guards.
This is a competitor through and through. She brings an toughness that simply can’t be taught..

The all energy junior guard was the party starter of the second half run. She drained a pair of corner triples that broke the game opened and propelled McLoud to a comfortable win over their rivals. Chloe and her sister always play with passion and their heart on their sleeves. A big reason why McLoud has reached the Class 4A semifinals.

Quick lead guard, who can be a terror on the defensive end. Picks up and applies tough on the ball pressure, while also having equally quick hands to force turnovers and jump balls. In a recent game watched, Mapira was also McLoud’s most reliable three point weapon. Hitting big shots throughout the game. Combines with her twin sister Claire to create a gritty and quick defensive minded backcourt. Class 4A is loaded, but McLoud is currently ranked 16th and looking for the first State Tournament appearance in school history.

gave opposing teams trouble getting into their offense. Nice handles that attacks down hill off the dribble.
One game I watched Chloe got hot knocking down 3/5 from outside the arch. Only a sophomore I expect her game to continue to get better as the more games she gets in this season.
