Nemecek had arguably the best motor in the 17U division, as she simply never stopped running. In every Swarm contest watched, she was hustling in transition, crashing the glass (on both ends) and simply leaving it all on the court. When she grabs a defensive board, she looks for an outlet, then unhitches the trailer and runs the floor hard. It’s a simple but important to understand concept, and her teammates do award her energy and unselfishness by finding her after she’s sprinted down the court. Add in being the first on the floor for loose balls, and Nemecek’s effort levels should appeal to college coaches. Especially with the improvement she’s making with her shooting touch.

An outstanding power forward with great size, soft hands, and scores at a high percentage in the paint. She has been a consistent force all year for a highly ranked program, drawing double teams from opposing teams. She does her work early, establishing strong position before the catch and creating clear passing lanes for entry passes.
She also demonstrated the ability to step outside and stretch the floor, knocking down the occasional three-pointer. Runs the floor well and thrives in an up-tempo system.
Defensively, she is a major presence, particularly at the top of a 1-2-2 press. She is quick to trap, uses her length effectively, and makes it difficult for opponents to pass over or around her.
Capable of recording a double-double on any given night. Earned All-Conference honors this season and showed steady improvement throughout the year, continuing to elevate her overall game.

Daycie is a 2027 forward that is flying under the radar. Solid footwork in the post area doing much of the work early before catching the ball. A much improve mid-range game has made this physical forward a possible match up issue. The forward showed an outside jumper that was much respected.
On defense she is long and quick playing the top of the press in a 1-2-2 set. Creates deflections and steals for her team when the trap is set in dead man corner. An impressive forward that should be more looks being on a circuit this summer

Good athlete, who has been a battler around the rim in previous viewings before the Expo. Ther had been hints that she could develop into more of a wing/stretch forward. In the past it was occasions of her hitting in the 15-18 feet range. But at the Expo she even was comfortable shooting from beyond the arc. As long as she stays true to her blue collar ways as a post presence, the occasional three is a very promising sign. McLoud is shaping up to have an outstanding core of 2027s prospects. And Nemecek is clearly making strides to elevate her and her team’s ceiling as they battle in tough Class 4A.

A strong physical power forward that works great in the 2-man game action. Big wide screener at the top of the key showing nice timing on the roll giving the opposing teams issues all day. Good hands on the roll that climb the latter to get several of those passes. Nice balance on the land before gathering herself for the strong finish. Best move is over the left shoulder that if she got to turn, she was going to score or get fouled.
Good rebounder on both ends of the floor scoring on several offensive putbacks. I did like the speed at which she ran the floor for a physical forward, scoring on several rim runs. A 2027 that stands 6’1 and moves the way she does will gain attention of coaches this season. A good candidate for flying under the radar.
