How does BCRI keep finding and developing these young gems? Chloe is a recent discovery whose fall highlights show someone that looks prepared to put RI hs basketball on notice this season. She has a great foundational balance, plays under control in traffic, but also has the athletic traits to give her the advantage on the perimeter. Chloe capitalizes on angles plus she has impressive vision for the position. On the other end, Riese has shown she can be quite the effective team defender. The attentiveness and her reaction time to ill-advised passes quickly come to mind first. Overall, this is a ’30 with immense value. Cranston East has something here.

Chloe had a strong spring with her BCRI team, helping them win the Select Events New England Showcase and playing well at Spooky Nook. She had several big games throughout the season and showed a lot of improvement as she prepared for her freshman year at Cranston East High School. Chloe uses her length well around the basket, allowing her to finish over defenders even when contested. She is also a good three-point shooter who can make an impact both inside and outside, making her a versatile offensive threat.
