I’ve enjoyed covering Wilson all season. Generally, I’ve covered her due to her offensive effectiveness. The 6’1 senior post is averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds on 55% shooting from the field. Wilson owns the pain on offense.
And this season, she’s done the same on the defensive end. She’s averaging two blocks a game to go along with some of the best offensive stats of any post player in the state.

While Perry County’s team continues to score, Wilson continues to have an incredibly impressive old-school l0w-post season. She’s continuing to average 18 points a game while facing constant double teams, packed in zone defenses, etc. While she had previously been above 60% from the field all season, and has now fallen to 55%….55% is still incredibly efficient.
