Jones has looked tremendous for a Bartlett team hoping to get back to the glass house. Jones is a legitimate high-caliber, 3-level-scorer. She proved our offensive prowess with a 27 point performance in leading her team to victory Monday vs an excellent Dyersburg team. Jones is helping carry the heavy lifting as some of the Bartlett role players continue to round into shape. Make no mistake–they will be ready to compete in the post season.
Williams was another Bartlett player that impressed vs Dyersberg. Williams is comes in a long-line of high-level posts, and she’s really begun coming into her own over the past few weeks. Also an effective defender (she’s long, strong, athletic, and takes pride on the defensive end). Recently, her scoring (averaging nearly a double double over the past couple weeks) has become more consistent. Williams is an x-factor for this Bartlett team.
Kennedy Hudson

Hudson has become a double-double machine this season for Hume-Fogg. She’s physical, strong, competes, wins 50/50s, gets on the floor–she does all the little things that contribute to winning. This season, she’s really started to contribute at a high level statically. Recently put up a MONSTER 12 point, 19 rebound game! And that came off the heels of 11 point, 12 rebound double-double. Hundson’s level of consistency has been a real development.

I went to the Bradley Central vs Walker Valley game on Friday, and Wilcox look fantastic! She’s gotta much better at pushing ahead in transition, and she look great catching in a lower stance, ready to attack off the bounce. Got into the paint at will vs Walker Valley, and really looked comfortable as Bradley’s 5th starter.
Geren looked very confident live vs Walker Valley, and her combination of being a highly skilled shooter and passer made her hard to take off the floor for Bradley at times. I believe Geren will be a BIG TIME contributor for this year’s Bradley’s team before it’s all said and done.
I don’t even what to talk about her stats….just her growth as a player! On Friday, we got to see some interesting things from Bradley vs man to man D. Coach Reuter seemed to be letting Stovall and Fields “free-lance” in their 4 out 1 in. Fields was allowed to back screen, cross-screen, etc for Stovall to get Stovall into the pain and Fields on the perimeter. Fields basketball IQ was really evident in the first half before Walker Valley had to go zone.
I just don’t think Ryan gets enough credit…..so I’m just gonna lay this here:
In an upset win over one of the best 4A teams in the state Coffee County, Butler led the way with 27 points. Putting up 27 points on Coffee County, and doing so in an upset bid, is big time!
While Perry County’s team continues to score, Wilson continues to have an incredibly impressive old-school l0w-post season. She’s continuing to average 18 points a game while facing constant double teams, packed in zone defenses, etc. While she had previously been above 60% from the field all season, and has now fallen to 55%….55% is still incredibly efficient.
