All Edison needs is the right coach and program to watch her play, and the dominoes will start falling. The upside is clearly there, and right now she’s playing with pure freedom and youth. She seems to be a natural playmaker, but she’s also had big moments and possessions where she’s shown she can go get her own bucket when needed. She’s active, alert, and when you pair that with her high energy, she can be a problem on the defensive end and on the boards. She’s a player coaches should really keep an eye on as the years go on.

Edison has real upside, and it shows even more in person. It is still early in her career, but the intangibles already stand out. Long, athletic, and confident, she plays without fear and brings strong energy even when the ball is not in her hands. Her handle is solid, too, and it helps her get to her spots more easily. Big fan.

Claire was a defensive stopper for M14 Hoops 3SSB on Saturday at the Great Lakes Kickoff. Her anticipation and length created deflections on the perimeter, closing passing windows. She ripped the ball away aggressively for a steal and looked ahead in transition, dishing out lead passes to teammates for assists. Claire picked off a pass, pushed it the other way using both hands, and finished confidently with her left at the rim.

An underrated player from a visibility standpoint, Edison will be one to watch this spring and summer. She has all the tangible tools that can continue to separate her from the pack, and most of that is on the defensive end. From an offensive standpoint, there is a potential for her to be an all around threat, and you can see the potential in that the moment you watch her play.

Edison is one of those versatile players who can slide into the 1-3 and be effective no matter what role is needed. She has the length to be a permiter lock down player, she has the creativity and confidence to be a true three-level threat, and the energy to be a problem on the boards and the open floor as well.

Edison is suiting up for Willowbrook and should be a player to watch in this program. The kid has a solid amount of skill for her age, and when you pair that with her size.. There is clear potential for her to be a strong prospect over the next couple of years. She can score the ball from most angles on the court, and plays with some hustle and aggression that is hard to match.

Edison plays the game at such a controlled pace that it’s hard to knock her off when she’s feeling it. She has a strong handle on the ball as well.
