With the first July Live Period tipping off this week, college coaches are back on the road evaluating players who could help their programs in the future. While many 2027 prospects are already figured out for most schools, this live period gives 2028, 2029, and 2030 prospects a great chance to make an impression. Below are a few players who could possibly leave this weekend with new or first set of offers.

McDougall is well beyond her years, and coming into this summer, she was already viewed as one of the top prospects for many reasons outside of just her skill set. Coachable, and a true team player. Within the first couple months of the AAU season, she began to pull in offers, and they really haven't slowed down since. She's a legitimate two way threat, and while most people talk about her scoring, she's a hell of a defender both on and off the ball. She has good size, a strong wingspan, a high motor, and a great feel for the game. Players like this translate quickly at the next level, and with a few more years to add strength, she'll continue to establish herself as one of the top prospects in her class, let alone the state.

This kid is just a true hooper and one of those prospects who can really take a step once she's at a higher level. Her movements on the floor are always under control, and she never seems to play outside of what she's comfortable with. In both high school and AAU, she's the main focal point, and with that comes all types of defensive attention. Reese has shown she can still make an impact no matter what's thrown her way. She has the size, solid ball handling, and the ability to move and play without the ball. Big fan of her game.

Alexander has definitely added both confidence and pace to her game. She's figured out her sweet spots and does what she needs to do to get to them. She doesn't over dribble or under dribble. She moves with intent, and when you're a focal piece of a program, managing your energy is a major part of the game. Her ability to still provide an impact when she's more of a piece of the puzzle during AAU shows coaches she can adapt and still figure it out. The defense isn't something to overlook either. She has strong instincts and consistently finds ways to make plays.

Neumann has what you're looking for in a prospect from a physical profile standpoint. She has the size, frame, and tools that project well to the next level. When you add in the scoring ability and what she can do defensively, that's where she begins to separate herself. The biggest thing she'll need to show coaches is the continued growth of her skill set. Her ability to score without the ball, make plays for others, and impact the game when she's away from the ball will be key in showing coaches how well her game can translate. If those areas continue to develop, she'll only become an even more complete prospect.

All Edison needs is the right coach and program to watch her play, and the dominoes will start falling. The upside is clearly there, and right now she's playing with pure freedom and youth. She seems to be a natural playmaker, but she's also had big moments and possessions where she's shown she can go get her own bucket when needed. She's active, alert, and when you pair that with her high energy, she can be a problem on the defensive end and on the boards. She's a player coaches should really keep an eye on as the years go on.
