As long as Claire Emerson Claire Emerson 5'10" | SG/SF Wahoo Public | 2028 State NE does her due-dilligence of picking out a college that fits her style and where she will actually get to see the floor, she should produce at some impressive levels. Emerson moves really well for her size at 5’10. I would put her as a SG generally but she can really do anything that might be asked of her by her coaching staff. She is usually a mismatch nightmare right now with who she has to compete against on the high school floor. That will also change a little bit as she gets older but for someone going into their sophomore season, this is a name that I would definitely know out of the 2028 Class moving into this season as she sits right outside the Top 15 at #16.

Emerson comes into this Update as a 5’10 SG/SF for her team. Offensively, Emerson likes to move around the outside and hit three pointer jumpers when the ball is rotated back to her. She also likes to attack the basket when she is running in transition and she see’s some open space. If there isn’t any, she will adapt to the outside. We have only seen a glimpse of what Emerson can really do. When she gets more time on the floor these next few years, I’m sure we will continue to see her promise as she grows as a prospect.
