I realize that Claire is already committed to Ball State University, but that doesn’t change the fact she has been outstanding when I’ve seen her this Spring. With her team short on guards at times, she has handled the ball quite a bit, and she has taken on pressure head-on without mistakes. She looks leaner, more explosive in all directions, and she has gladly accepted a facilitator role, though she still has the ability to score it consistently from all three levels. I have also been impressed with her effort and attention at the defensive end. She is one of the most complete players in the class.

Claire was outstanding last weekend in the portions I was able to see. She looks about 6-feet tall now, and she appeared to be a little leaner, quicker, and more explosive. She handled the ball quite a bit and initiated the offense often. She was a nice option for her team in that capacity, considering the opponent was trapping quite a bit. She probably played just a hair too upright, but overall, she played well. She can get to the basket, absorb contact, and finish, she can find open teammates, and she’s capable perimeter shooter as well. Defensively, she can bounce between wing and forward,pursuing rebounds aggressively.

Claire Harrison is a versatile wing who brings length, athleticism, and strong two-way ability to the floor. The Greensburg standout excels as a scorer from multiple levels while also using her size to defend several positions. Harrison’s versatility allows her to fit into different offensive systems, whether attacking off the dribble, spotting up from the perimeter, or finishing around the basket.

Her motor and activity level stand out every game. Harrison rebounds well for her position and consistently creates extra opportunities through hustle plays. Defensively, she uses her length effectively to contest shots and disrupt passing lanes. She also had a strong AAU season, earning Division I mid-major offers from Purdue Fort Wayne, Ball State, Oakland, and Evansville.

Last season, Claire delivered one of the best campaigns you’ll see from a player at her position. She led Greensburg to a 27-1 record and a trip to the state finals, averaging 16.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while shooting an incredible 61% from the field and 46% from three. With her returning as a junior, Greensburg remains a championship contender, and Claire has the chance to elevate her game into being one of the most dominant wing players in Indiana.
