About Claire

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

True PG and starter on a high performing high school team. I have shot 42% from 3pt range for career, have an A:TO of 1.9:1 as a starter for the last two years, earned HAECO All-Tournament team in 2024, and got my first triple double in 3rd round of NCHSAA playoffs this year. I like to push the ball, I'm always looking to set up my teammates, and I was recognized as DPOY for my team this year.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love basketball and always think I can get better. When we hit a rough patch last year, losing to teams with high D1 recruits, I wanted the team to practice more so we could fix our issues. I try to build my teammates up and when I make a mistake, I own it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I founded a club at my high-school and I'm co-president. And I was recognized by Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in NC for raising more than 14K dollars in a campaign I did with my sister.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm captain of the team this year, have completed more than 30 hours of service each year in high school, and have always been a team player.

Claire Sullivan Claire Sullivan Claire Sullivan 5'7" | PG Bishop McGuinness | 2026 State NC was doing well showing her calm composure knocking down her shot from deep and moving the ball well to get a play going.  She was dynamic with her ball handling getting inside using her own moves to get the opening.  She hit a halfcout heave to end the third quarter tying up the game, and she followed that with more scoring with her shot around the perimeter in the fourth quarter making sure her team always had a chance.  She hustles back on defense being ready to block the path of her opponents.
