The 5’8 forward provides D’Evelyn with a constant flow of rebounds and steals, leading her team in both categories. Monahan was a crucial piece of the puzzle for B&B Basketball this summer, showcasing her concise handle and poise with the ball. She’s clearly translated this to the high school scene and I expect her numbers to skyrocket as the season progresses.

Colleen has endless energy and competes hard every possession. She can score in a variety of ways, giving her team a boost offensively, while still making plays for her team. Her ability to play with toughness makes her one of the most respected players on the floor.

Colleen was a force all season long becoming a go-to player for D’Evelyn. She found multiple ways to score the ball, on the offensive end while also defending at a high level. Her two-way presence helped her team stay competitive and made her one of the most reliable players in the 2027 class.

With great all-around skill, Monahan is definitely the asset of the D’Evelyn team. This forward has good handles and is quick on her feet, she easily gets around bigger, slower defenders. She finishes well at the rim behind great footwork, and she can also hit mid-range jumpers with confidence. Monahan just recently set her career high for most rebounds in a game, she can definitely get on the boards. On defense, Colleen is equally as skilled. Her quickness gets her team turnovers in pressure situations and she is not afraid to battle in the paint. The top scorer for the Jags, Monahan will be the key to the team going deep into the playoffs.

After a slow start, she came out hot in the second half, scoring eight quick points to give her team the lead in the 3rd. Her ability to step up when needed her growing confidence and willingness to take over. Even though her team didn’t get the win, her performance was a look at what we can expect in the future. 

With a 15-0 record the undefeated D’Evelyn as we round out January. Colleen is a player that continues to make a name for herself this season.A perfect example of that is her play in the 55-53 win against Evergreen, she stood-out with 28 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the field and 6-of-8 from three-point range. With only eight games left in the season, Colleen’s play is important as her team aims to carry their winning streak into the postseason. Her consistency makes a cornerstone of D’Evelyn’s success.
