Her ability to make shots were a staple for Tilton in this win. Phiri also showcased a soft touch around the rim while trekking down the lane. The intensity provided charged her teammates up. Colleen brought it all game.

Collen has found a great home at Colgate where she’ll be playing for Coach Ganiyat. Phiri’s game is tailored for college. The size in combination with strength plus crafted offensive and defensive skills makes her the #1 player at her position. Colgate has a great prospect coming next year.

Coleen Phiri has had herself a major summer that helped lead her into the #1 player at the position and the #8 ranked player in the entire class. Brute strength mixed with some elite nimble footwork for someone at the position. Catching and ripping off the perimeter is a skill Coleen does well. She has guard like ball control underneath the 3-point line. Phiri is a matchup nightmare from the mid-post, face-ups off the initial post up and in transition. Coleen has the athletic ability to play a point forward which coaches have to make an immediate adjustment to. Most teams don’t have a player that is so multifaceted. She can also defend 3 different positions comfortably. Coleen plays hard throughout the course of the game. She’ll dive for loose balls and sacrifice her body when taking charges for the betterment of the team. One of the toughest players in the class. There aren’t too many players that bring what Collen can to the game. She has plenty of offers and will surely add to the collection throughout the year. Phiri is expected to have a major season for Tilton.

Coleen Phiri is a dominate forward that is highly productive in the mid-post and the low post areas. She plays with enough power to mow through just about anybody, but also possess enough footwork, along with some finesse that allow her to operate at a potent level. When she catches the ball, look out. Phiri can create for herself in under 2 dribbles and generates enough space by barreling into defenders. Colleen embraces contact and goes players meeting her at the rim. She has been a perfect fit on a team like Rivals that enjoys getting after it on defense. Coleen has been a main staple to what has made Rivals successful this year. She uses her athleticism, along with her strong stature to muddle the opposing teams’ offense schemes. Phiri has a plethora of schools interested, but she was just recently offered from schools such as UNH and Merrimack College.
