56. 56 is the number of three point makes that Cora Niemeier recorded last Winter within her 210 attempts from deep. This number led the War Eagle Conference in total Three Pointers made by a few buckets. If you look at the Harris-Lake Park team, it’s interesting. This is their main C/PF and producer in general so she hangs out near the bucket so that she can rebound and defend the paint like her coaches ask her too. Last season she demonstrated that she has been working on her catch and shoot ability leading into the year. Neimeier was able to step out, take some time, and knock down some shots when the defense would fall asleep. This made defenses think about some things are ultimately change how they guarded Harris-Lake Park as the season went on. I hope we can see even more success out of Niemeier and their team as a whole. They have some nice pieces so now it’s all about continuing to build that foundation.

As you might be able to tell, everyone who is considered a dominant Post in this Conference is standing right around 5’11/6’0 and that’s the case for Cora Niemeier Cora Niemeier 5'11" | C Harris-Lake Park | 2027 IA of Harris-Lake Park High School as well. This is the first time we have ever mentioned by it shouldn’t be the last. This is a hooper that WILL be a reckoning force yet again this Winter for her squad. Niemeier does the dirty work under the hoop and in-between the blocks. This is a squad with some talent at the Guard position so as long as she plays off of that, they should continue to do well over the next few months. When looking at their roster, this team will return 3/4 starters from last Winter when they went 19-5 overall & 7-1 in Conference so the promise is there. They just need to continue to put the work in and the rest will be history.
