had a monster day inside for A. A. Gabriel Richard at the SVSU MLK Classic. Her 9-point scoring run in the fourth quarter was crucial to earning an Irish victory. She screened and rolled then earned inside position for finishes and rebounds. Cora put herself in a great position to shoot inside and finished through contact by elevating off two feet in the paint. She is a strong forward whose 15 points and 6 rebounds contributed to a great win.

Williams has fit like a glove in the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard culture. And that culture right now is full of a handful of next level prospects. Williams is a team first forward that will box out and battle for boards. She’s a tough matchup with her ability to use her power near the rim and score in traffic and through contact. Williams can then step out and attack with a tough 2 dribble straight line drive.

As good as Gabriel Richard was last year, they’re a significantly better team this year. I really believe that Williams is a big reason why. If a college coach wants a powerful and versatile forward, she’d be a great gift to that team.

I could have picked any member of their starting lineup honestly, but I’be just been really impressed with Williams since the summer. I love what she brings to this team. She’s a powerful yet versatile forward that will give matchup issues to many teams with her ability to work outside-in or inside-out.

Williams was one of the most improved players that I saw in June. I loved her offensive versatility attacking with a powerful 2 dribble drive as well as working with her back to the basket.

I was able to focus on Williams’ game at The Summer Sweet 16 Shootout and I came away VERY impressed. Her strength, physicality and athleticism all looked greatly improved. Williams showed a lot of versatility, being able to score with her back to the basket as well as facing the rim and using a power drive.

I was thoroughly impressed with the way that Williams played at the Summer Sweet 16 Shootout. Her skill set and court demeanor fit incredibly nicely with the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard system and roster. Williams provided a lot of strength and muscle. She was able to put her back to the basket and score over her left shoulder. Williams was also able to face the rim and run the floor. She’s improved her overall athleticism a ton.
