This season was Joo’s coming out party. She had a historic season that speaks to the grand talent the sophomore has. It’ll be hard to top some of the scoring numbers especially with opposing scouting reports heavily featuring her next season. However, there’s not a name that comes to mind faster than hers when discussing star players poised to take charge next season. The type of performances she’s capable of having able are nothing short of remarkable.

Joo had 30 pts on 6 imposing 3s plus she added 8 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl and 4 blk against Harvey in an overtime win last week. Carolyn followed that performance with 28 pts (12 pts coming from behind the arc), 8 reb, 5 ast, 8 stl and 1 blk winning on the road at Watkinson last Wednesday.

Joo is making a case for a top 10 player within her class; her consistent and yet stately production confirms this. Without a doubt she’s been one of the best watches of the entire season. Oh, and just a sidenote, Joo just reached an amazing milestone of scoring her 1000th point last night. What’s mindboggling is that she’s only a sophomore; who knows what her potential could be? It’s rare to see this level of volume/capacity coming from such a young player. There’re not many that’re able to do what Carolyn has.

Joo lost 43-48 against Rye Country Day, but her 33 pt performance was hard felt. The dynamic ’28 scoring threat knocked down 6 staggering 3s and also added 5 steals. In addition to this, Carolyn had a 32 pt performance in a win over Holy Child. Her imposing outputs have put the region on notice This is one of the premier young talents on the rise.

Joo has been absolutely spectacular this season. She may very well be the top performing underclassman of the season so far. The consistency as a highly efficient scorer is remarkable, but she also plays with an electricity that makes her that much more invaluable. Carolyn’s recent 26 pt, 37 pt and 50 pt games were masterclasses in both cogent analysis as well as dynamic playmaking. Joo isn’t a slouch on defense though. Her blazing speed, tenacity and athleticism can keep her in just about any play. There’s no denying Joo has been on another level.

Joo is on a roll this season putting up big number performances and here she is yet again with another one. Her 32 points came in marvelous fashion vs Greenwich Academy. She wasn’t only scoring though, Carolyn also added 7 stl, 6 reb, 2 bl and 2 stl in this major win. There’s no question that this fluid bucket-getter is one of the most electrifying players in her class. When Joo is also stuffing the other columns the way she was in this one, it’s a scary sight for the competition.

Joo had one of the best games of any underclassmen in the region so far this season. She scored 50 points, setting the single game scoring record for the King School. To top it all off, Carolynn’s bigtime performance helped secure the 66-to-39-win vs Masters.

Carolyn averaged over 20 points per game as a freshman last season, establishing herself early as one of the top young scorers in the region. She’s a major threat from behind the three-point line, but her game is far more than just shooting. When defenses try to take away her perimeter looks, she can punish them from the midrange or by getting all the way to the basket. She’s excellent at getting into the paint and finishing through contact. She opened her season with a massive performance against Emmanuel Christian Academy, scoring 41 points and knocking down eight threes in the process.

What a special playmaker Joo ca be. Her overall majestic aura has such a flair that makes her a striking watch. Her propensity to create for herself and others can really tip the scales for her squad. Corolyn is ranked #4 at the position. Joo is phenomenal to watch with the ball in her hands.
