About Dakhari
Expert Analysis

This was my first time watching Dakhari Blankumsee, one of the top guards in the state of Ohio and a nationally ranked prospect, and she immediately lived up to the billing. What stood out most was her ability to consistently get to her spots, whether it was off the dribble or within the flow of the offense.
Blankumsee plays with a high level of poise and confidence, never looking rushed and always under control. She does a great job of changing speeds, using her handle to create separation, and making smart reads with the basketball in her hands. Her ability to score at all three levels was on display, as she knocked down perimeter shots while also attacking the lane and finishing through contact.
She embraced the challenge of competing against another rising guard from Indiana Basketball Club and made her presence felt throughout the game. During Next Level’s comeback from a 15-point deficit, Blankumsee played a key role by handling pressure, creating offense, and delivering timely baskets.
Overall, her feel for the game, scoring ability, and composure make her a high-level prospect who will continue to attract attention from college coaches. She’s a guard that impacts winning in multiple ways and will be a major name to follow moving forward.

I mentioned her earlier, she is a highlight reel every night. Great quickness, anticipates the game well, can defend enforce mistakes, and if she gets the steal, she’s gone. Can take her game to a different level, a level that is difficult to defend.

The #1 ranked 2028 in the state of Ohio, this flashy guard is a playmaker and a difference maker. You can’t defend her she’s got great moves, smooth with or without the ball and can score in all three phases of the game. Was a key player for Winton Woods as they won a state title last year, and she has the focus to get them back again for a repeat chance.

There are many reasons why Dakhari “Strawberry” Blankumsee is nationally-ranked and at the very top of the class of 2028! She flat out dominates on the offensive end on one of the best teams in the state of Ohio! In the MLK Jr. Day matchup against Spire Academy, she lead her team in scoring with 18 points and made a significant impact on the glass on both ends of the floor finishing with eight rebounds in total! She has elite shiftiness and change of direction with the ball in her hands and keeps her eyes up to find teammates as well! There isn’t much more that needs to be said about Blankumsee’s game other than that she is the complete package at the point guard position! Top college programs will continue to keep her at the top of their 2028 recruiting class as she continues to dominate her opponent each game!

Strawberry is the states best sophomore, and she plays on a very solid and balanced high school team. Meaning her numbers may not be as high as some others, but her game is definitely with those others! Flashy, quick, lightning speed with great handles and is an outstanding defender. Can blast past you for a bucket and run the show!

DaKhari showed poise and confidence competing against older players. She attacked downhill with purpose and scored through contact while also creating for teammates. Her handles are tight, and she proved she can knock down shots from all levels of the floor. Few players matched her toughness finishing at the rim throughout camp.

Sensational baller that is relentless on defense! Physical and plays with control in the paint while rebounding and making moves near the rim- efficient from outside, and displays confidence in the way she can score and distribute the ball. Ice in her veins!

Strawberry is here… and she showed all season long that she can either be a major scoring force, or facilitate the offense for Winton Woods. That team is so talented and finished 27-0 on the season. Berry is so explosive with the ball, has an unstoppable first-step to the rim. She is all over the place with active hands and sometimes you just stop and watch her work.

With an offer sitting under her belt already from Ohio State she also comes in as number one ranked baller in the 2028 class. With such a natural feel for the game, this young baller is so much fun to watch. It makes no difference if she is double teamed because she outpaces everyone with her speed, deft movements, and amazing handles! They refer to her as “Strawberry,” explosive playmaker that has a really organic sense of the game. It will take everything you have to stop her.
